Had a call today to look at this machine that the customers are have trouble starting. The start button works probably 1 in 10 goes and sometimes the machine will stop with the start pause light flashing. I’m guessing this will be down to the display board.
I managed to get the machine going on a rinse cycle but I could hear the dryer motor kick in as it was filling. It did this twice and then seemed to carry on with the rinse as normal. Does anyone know if this is normal for this machine?
Just a thought but can you just disconnect the dryer element? The customer said they don’t use the dryer part of the machine so if I could just leave it disconnected and the washing cycles would still work then that could be the best option.
