so how DO you enter test mode as i have a zanussi washing machine with exactly the same fault ZWF12070W1 (914216103) where the door locks and wash light comes on but it will do is pump continuously no matter what program it is on, wash or spin ones. checked brushes loads of life left on them, so help on test mode would be appreciated.
many thanks 😀

I had one do the same 2 months back, entered the diagnostics, reset and away the machine went.
John.Hi A1TEC,
I know how to put the machine into diagnostic mode, but how do you reset the last fault.June 6, 2010 at 12:39 am #312232aqualectric

Erasing the last stored fault will not erase a problem. The machine will run with the fault code stored even after the faulty part has been replaced. So if the machine is still showing a fault code, you still have a fault…….

Hi,
When the fault has been repaired, is it not necessery to cancel the stored fault on the board before testing the machine.Regards,

It is “good practice” to do so, but it will not affect the day to day working of the machine. The only thing is if the diagnostics were looked at, the code would show up, but may not be relevent to the new fault, so a possible confusion could arise.

Hi, we have 2 of these machines with the pump out only fault in our workshop. can someone tell us how to get into the diagnostics mode & fault codes? one of the machines is only 13 months old the other is 2 years old. We have the pump out only, whatever the program selected. Door locks OK, motor brushes OK, heater continuity OK, inlet valves OK & have blown down pressure switch tubing. I wouldn’t be expecting faults in these areas (except perhaps the heater) on machines of this age.
Cheers
Dave

Yes, once you have applied for trade access if you haven’t already done so. 😉

Want to register for trade but haven’t worked out how. Instructions say “use link in the “information” box to the left of this message”—-there is no information box! Also says use the “create one” link in the log in box but I am already registered. I think I need to contact admin for further help.

A quick e-mail to admin@ukwhitegoods.co.uk should get you sorted. 😉
