Not really – post the fault you have and we may be able to help. 😉

Does it spin? Can the pump be heard running? Does the door lock? The machine not filling is possibly a valve fault but the door will lock and the pump will run first. Please confirm if the machine will do anything else……and what that “anything else” is….. 😕

thanks for reply the pump is running and the door lock appears to be working as door lock lights up…have checked drain hose for blockages all clear. have checked fill hose which is working. does not operate any programs or will not fill.

It is worth checking the motor brushes first to see if they are worn out, and the water fill valve solenoid.
Power off before any inspection starts. :plug:
Hope that helps.

Next thing to try….Power off first…:plug:
Pull the pressure switch hoses off and try it again. If it does fill then it could be a blocked pressure chamber on the side of the sump hose. (do not let it fill too much; about 5 seconds at most). The small rubber hose goes to it from the pressure switch. 😉
Word of warning – Do not blow into the pressure switch, it is a sensitive electronic device and you will probably damage it as a result.
Failing that, it’s the PCB…….. 😥

hi have tried disconnection of hose to pressure switch however still does not fill…I checked the drain hose from the bottom on first day said hose has a plastic ball within through check revealed no blockage within hose or around the ball again this goes all the way up to pressure switch and was clear so with pressure switch isolated machine does not fill so i guess its back to the pcb ?….

Hi would like to thank you for your help and congratulate all concerned in running the site I take it a new board will need to be programmed or will the part work straight from supplier…hoping a complaint direct to zanussi will prove fruitful the machine is only 14 months old….

Have you accessed the machine diagnostics?,this will show fault code and point you in the correct direction, also the last fault can be reset.
I had one do the same 2 months back, entered the diagnostics, reset and away the machine went.

hi to enter machine diagnostics I take it you require an interface n laptop with diagnostic programme….which I don’t have did note a 4 pin connection on the pcb which i examined with large magnification did not see any obvious corrosion or burning tracking ect so if pcb board would need to be a component fault….any easy solution… ❓

No lap top required, all you need is a engineer with the service manual. 😆
