Yup, welded. Replace drum by buying all the individual bits……

There is no new one – you have to buy all the bits and build it yourself 😀 . Not going to happen, is it?

Definitely going to put Zanussi on my “discourage purchase of” list from now on. Not much left that’s not on that list now.

Gents, there is a welded tub kit available for this model (PNC 914521108/00, 914521108/02, 914521109/00 & 914521109/02) from Distriparts. It consists of a welded tub assembly, 2 shock absorbers & 4 shock absorber pins. The part number you require is: 3484158104.
Ask & it shall be given. 8)
Having said that though, it isn’t cheap. Last one I did was over £120 RRP for the kit alone. 😯 Those kind people @ D&G paid for it though. 😀

lol, my price for that from connect is £263.73+vat, about the cost of the whole machine. Their RRP is £404 😥

no chance of a repair at that price 😥 i think that the fault is a babys sock has got jammed. cant see it thro sump or heater though. such a waste to scrap a good machine for the sake of a sock ❗ (well i thought they were a good machine 👿 )

How old is it? Is the door seal ok do you know? It may be worth contacting Zanussi Customer Care & seeing if they will make any concession. I know they will consider each case & are usually willing to help if they feel it is warranted. If they say no, all you have lost is the cost of the phone call, although you could always email them but I find it is sometimes better to speak to someone directly.
You don’t ask, you don’t get.

Makes you wonder about the future of this trade, doesn’t it?

if they could get the price down to under 100 for complete unit, it might then be worth repairing :rolls:
