Zanussi ZWF 1437 F Drum not turning

Hi All

Please help

Our washing machine has been as good as gold so far however last night the washing machine broke.

All of the cycles work until it gets to the the part where the drum should be turning but does not.

If I open the door the drum rotates fine without any noises and it drains fine.

The motor does not make a noise which is where I suspect the motor however I am not sure if it is a dead motor or bad bushes etc.

There are no error codes coming up on the display.

My wife did mention an odd noise but cannot really describe it.

I am happy to take apart as needed.

Some diagnostic advice would be great.

Check the brushes and report back.

Can you let me know what I should be looking for in terms of checking the brushes?

Brushes

Be sure to remove the mains plug first.
