    Hi, when the power switch is pressed a noise like a relay trying to contact repeatedly very fast is heard for a few seconds, the power light stays on but nothing works. Any ideas or help appreciated.

    Could be a problem with the door interlock. Rather than give up on it you could try finding a local repairer using the repairs@ facility. Sometimes the symptoms are too generalised for us to pinpoint the problem without seeing the appliance.
