ParticipantJust left above machine with continual drain pump- spent hour on it covered everything and still totally flummexed-reading threads it appears putting it through dignostics and resetting could solve my brain ache.
Is anyone in aposition to forward diagnostics info to me please?October 27, 2010 at 8:41 pm #334317BobHope

insulation fault on the heater causes this, just disconnect the heater and see if it works, or better still do an insulation test with a decent insulation tester.

yes dont forget about the diagnostics!!!
should be freely available if you have a connect account and pnc 🙂
otherwise pm me your email…
thing is constant drain is the machine in like a safelock mode, whyby almost anything electrical in it will cause this symptom :bang:
once u have the diagnostics what you need to do is:
read last error code first – (match up with error description, and check component(s) associated, replace if necessary)
clear last error code
run full diagnostic test routine.
and so on…
laborious but usually useful.

just be aware that there can often be more than one error code, so you might have to keep replacing and clearing error codes until the dignostic test run shows you E00 on position 10

Thanks v much. insulation on heater .4meg- disconnected and machine kicked into life.
Didn.t show low reading other day as swung through from plug top- relays not energised then though!!! I feel they are overengineered appliances nowadays, bring back mechanical timers.
New heater ordered- happy customer!!
