zanussi ZWF 1630W -all program buttons do not work/light up.

I set the machine off last night and when i came down this morning it had stopped before spinning. There was water in the drum and although the power on/off light was on none of the program lights would come on. Any ideas where to start looking. Thanks

Edit: The power switch turns on the power light but this does nothing.

have you made sure the rinse hold option isnt activated?

other than that, try the obvious ( the pump filter)

We have cleared out the filter and let the water flow out from the drum. Despite removing a small fortune in pennies from the filter (could this make the water overflow thus damaging the electrics?) nothing has changed 🙁

That was a crafty edit you stuck in there……… 😀

If the facia will not light up at all, it’s possible that the cabling from the computer board is faulty; otherwise the computer board itself would be my main suspect.

Oh! That cant be good.
How can i make sure that i get the cheapest most effective remedy to this.
