Zanussi ZWF-1631W Leaking After Cleaning Pump

Hello All! My Zanussi ZWF-1631W washing machine is leaking water from the bottom of the machine immediately after starting a cycle. The leaking happened after I cleaned the pump, which had been making an odd noise. In the pump impeller I found a coin and a cigarette filtre, and the emergency emptying hose was blocked. I blew out the emptying hose after cleaning the pump impeller and testing the machine, which was leaking.

Could someone please advise me on the possible causes of this and the remedy?

tilt it back and put the small drain pipe back on the pump housing 😉

It was a simple five minute repair (including taking the door frame off the bathroom to get the drier out to have some room to work), and couldn’t have been easier.
