Zanussi ZWF 1632

Zanussi ZWF 1632.

I have a problem with the above machine stopping after wash cycle, wash light on and nothing else flashing. Sometimes stops with wash, rinse and spin lights on with start light flashing. Turn power off/on and skip to next step and then finishes as normal.

Stops after draining water so pump ok, checked drain pipe and pipe to pressure switch – both clear.

Any ideas?

Maybe motor brushes worn, power off while working on it!

Thanks for reply.

Checked brushes this morning, look ok. No signs of arcing and approx 20mm left in brush holder.

Whilst machine was apart cleaned all connectors with electrical cleaner to see if this helps.

What’s the average call out charge for an engineer? Just weighing up if to call someone out or replace machine.

Still the same, did an empty wash ok after I put it back together but failed tonight on a wash with clothes in.

Back to the drawing board.
