    Hi,

    914780727/00

On pressing start button pump operates for a few seconds, stops and no fill occurs.

Door locks ok. No supply to valves.

Turn dial to off then select a rinse and machine fills. No motor action.

Select spin, machine empties and spins. If I allow the machine to fill in the rinse, select off then select a wash, it pumps out for about 15 or so seconds and stops with water left in. Turn selector off and back to the wash it will pump out again for a shorter period. I keep doing this until empty but again will not fill.

I selected the diagnostic function by pressing start/pause button and an option button and turning selector to right (I have no instructions for this – guessing). It started to impulse through the LED’s ok.

Turned to other setting then start/pause button LED and ‘end’ LED flashed a 4 flash sequence with the, ‘end’ LED doing an extra one. (see photo)

Is this a fault code and because all components are functioning ok do I suspect the control module?

    Thanks

    Laurence

E54 Description: Motor relay contacts sticking. Possible fault: PCB faulty; current leakage from motor or from wiring. Action/machine status: Cycle blocked, door locked (after 5
    attempts)
That’s from PDF I downloaded earlier today for a ZWF1432 but I’m sure it’s the same reasoning.

    Thanks Mike,

My conclusion then, it is the PCB.

If the time you posted is correct, you ought to get some early nights 😮

    Thanks again,

    Laurence

Not necessarily. As the service manual said. 😉
Thanks for the reminder about early nights. I had a couple a week ago when I was a bit down. Feel much better for it.
    Mike.
