Hi all,
Came home from work today for my wife to the washer wont spin, ive had a quick look and there seems to be a issue, hopefully someone could shed some light
Basiclly, you switch on the unit, select your program and press the button to start the cycle, the light comes on and you hear a click for the door, then nothing else happens
After a few mins the door light goes out and you can pull the washing out but its still soaking wet, just as you expect from a no spin cycle
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Check brushes. Almost certain to be this. You may be able to hear characteristic “crackling” as the brushes arc against the commutator.
Relatively simple to replace yourself, or cheap to get an engineer to do it, clean commutator properly with a comm stick if you want new brushes to last.
