ParticipantThis machine is only about 18 months old, when a wash prog is selected it fills for a few seconds then stops… All lights remain on but it does nothing.
It will go through the rinses apparently normally & it will spin. Checked all the usual things for continuity, only thing i noticed was the sol valve coils had slightly different resist values, maybe thats normal?
Also checked all the spindly edge connectors feeding valves on PCB.
Anyone else came across something similar?Cheers.

Can`t remember so i hope i do not mislead you.Is this one of the machines with the circulating pump?If so check that this pump has not not burnt out its windings due to a blockage and taken out pcb power module-not necessarily obvious but when you look at one of the corners of the board you might see a small mark on the top face of a black resistor (and oftern that is all you will see-ie no visual explosions).Seem to remember your problem being as above-starts for a couple of secs then sweet FA.Best of luck.

IME (limited) they drain out and go to zero mins, when the recirc pump is dead. (Although that was on a ZWD). I think the green dryer coil does have a different resistance. The others are about 3.4k IIRC. Sounds like heater/ntc but I’m sure you thoroughly checked them. What about diagnostics? Also damp/condensation on plastic brush holders seems to cause odd faults.

cheers for responses guys, strange one indeed, but thats ‘lux group stuff these days 🙁 No circ pump on this fella so it rules that out, the right solly coil( looking from the front of machine) is the one thats coming on ok, runs for a few secs but isnt feeding central part of soap disp, so powder remains. Left valve should be doing this but no mains volts present at all when i put meter to its feed 😕
Interesting point about condensation probs causing havoc on these things Mike, it is indeed in a very grotty home made looking extension to the house, damp mould creeping up the walls.. & its been P*SSING down here in last few days.. hmmm.. maybe a return trip with the wifeys hair dryer will do the trick 😉
