Zanussi ZWF1220W no spin

I’m not sure if this is a fault or a ‘feature’ of this machine. 😕
Machine spins empty OK. But one heavy and wet item in the drum will only get as far as the ‘balance’ stage and machine refuses to go into spin. Customer says a full load is spun perfectly but single items are not. Is the computer PCB sensing an ‘off balance’ load and not proceeding with spin? I’m aware that Servis machines do this, but I’ve not come across it with a Zanussi.
Can anyone advise on this?

Hello Steve,

Don’t know of any machine now which doesn’t have an out of balance system. Some are more sensitive than others, especially the high spin versions. Basically if it spins ok with a normal load then it will be the out of balance system and there is nothing you can do about it. 🙂
