ZANUSSI ZWF1221W DRAINAGE PROBLEM

We have a Zanussi ZWF1221W that is NOT under guarantee.

After a (Less than full) wash cycle has been completed we notice the clothes are excessively wet after spinning. It often requires further spins to drain the water from the clothes.

After the (Less than full) washing has been completed a couple of inches of water builds up in the drum in a 12 hour(Approx) period after the wash.

There is a problem but can anyone help?

Hi

Is your waste pipe connected to a spout on the trap under sink or a hooked into a stand pipe. Secondly if its clean water going into machine after use, try turning the cold tap to machine off for a day , if machine still fills when not in use then the hot valve in machine needs replacing, or water stops then you need to replace the cold valve.

Obvious one is to check the machines’ filter…….

Back fill from a sink coupling is entirely possible; the machine is cold fill only, so if it is nice clean water the valve is the problem.
