since the summer the spin cycle has been getting noisier and noisier (have a feeling one of the kids put in a very uneven wash, like trainers on their own, while we were away for a while, though maybe they’d been playing get in the washing machine games! )

Anyway noise is now similar to a aircraft engine. It seemsquite likely it is the bearings, and some parts for these are available relatively cheaply. Does this sound like the likely problem/diagnosis? and if so, what would i need to complete a diy fix? (espares list front and rear drum bearings, as well as a bearing seal, but also spider bush bolts (sounds like a part of the garden that would scare the hell out of me) and an assemble bearing spider bush), any body have any experience/tips with this model and problem?

    thanks in advance,

    Conrad
