Zanussi ZWF1230W E50 Error Code help

We have an E50 error code on our ZWF1230W washing machine.

Could this refer to the Control Panel on the front? This has caused us problems ever since my Dad gave it [the washing machine] to me. (He works at a Company that sells, rents, repairs and maintains a plethora of “white appliances” and other electric goods – he gave us an ex-rental machine) My Dad said it could be a loose connection, but he couldn’t source the fault at the time…

Any input my dears? 🙂

E50 relates to a motor fault so first thing to check is the motor brushe’s arnt worn first.

Hi, thank you for your input, after repeated “turning off and on again” and hitting the control panel, it started working again. 🙂 x

Thought I better report back with our “solution” to the problem. My Dad is looking for another identical but broken washing machine with working control panel to swap them. If anyone has access to a control panel for one of these machines, at a VERY cheap price, pls give me a shout! 🙂
