washer showing E80 recirc pump completely burnt out. fitted new one and display still read E80 so cleared the code by holding start/pause and reset code cleared and machine now fills then goes straight to drain. I can skip to select spin and get motor action I’m thinking the boards gone west but would be gratefull for any other ideas.

It is the board, no question. When the coil on the pump goes, so does the triac on the board.

Have a picture of the board I did, showing the AC switch concerned if you’re interested in trying to repair it. It’s labelled TYACS3 and is in one corner of the board, easy to find. Replacement component costs pennies from RS. If you send me your e-mail address I can send the pic. and a link to the spare.
