Complaint of END light coming on after a few seconds of pressing start on any programme, door also not locked.
I didn’t have my laptop with me to run diagnostics, she told me on the phone it was an Indesit. :rolls:
Wasn’t sure of correct procedure for diagnostics but did press start + first option button then turned knob to right ( which on checking now is correct ) but it would not go into diagnostics, it just flashed the light above the option button.
I was going to try a doorlock but as the mains plug was behind a huge F/freezer I was not about to do my back in trying to move it. I beat a hasty retreat home to check on TDS to make sure I had tried the correct diagnostics procedure before my return.
Any ideas as to the cause of thees faults?
TIA.
Jim.

Carry the info in PDF on your smartphone Jim, saves fuffin’ about with laptops. 😉
One of two thoughts spring to mind: –
1) Control panel mounting lugs broken by hand-fisted user therefore not allowing full control access to the buttons.
2) The usual heater earth leak probs.
HTH? 😀

So you mean to tell me you have every single PDF for every single Zan/Lux product plus all the other machines you service as well on your smartphone?
Besides the small screen on a smartphone is not as user friendly as my laptop. 😉

Not exactly Jim no but I have the complete list of Lux diagnostics for all lux Pnc’s starting from the EWM1000 series right up to the latest EWM35?? and their Chinky ones. Plus direct access to the Lux website using the wonder of the web on it. Saves lugging a lappy and its always in my pocket, so I’m happy with that.
I couldn’t live without my ANDROID….! 😈
