    HI any ideas anyone.Called on this machine & found it to have a blown module ,checked motor & obvious things all seemed ok so fitted a replacement .Guess what it went bang with motor disconnected .zanussi ZWF1427W blowing main module .Many thanks

    What part of the boar went bang? i.e what does it drive?

    Door interlock I expect?…Check the burnt PCB tracks and it will lead you to guilty component. 😉

    Has blown component r82 on the board & some tracking around that part also blackening around a grey oblong component with a letter M stamped on top of it maybe a capacitor .These components are around top off pcb when fitted on the side that has only 1 connector connected ,the other side of the board having the main connections .I have not got this model on my tds dvd must be newish.Hope You can help Cheers

    With Martin on this, the only way to find what’s popping it is trace print on pcb to the edge connectors to see what it’s driving. circuit diagram doesn’t give component numbers & there are 2 different listed for this model: EWM1000+ & EWM2000

    done 6 or 7 of these now nd every time it has been the i/lock which has takenout main board then display board and on one the analogic pressure switch! there is a development near us with about 100 of these and all have came from here up to know.

    Thanks , I will check when I call back to cx I’ll make sure I take a interlock with me , I will let you no how I get on
