Customer complained this aborted with E60 in display, I put it into diognostics seemed to function then showed E63 at position 10.
I then tried another test and it aborted with E60 again, I can’t find these codes listed in my fault code book can anyone help me out ?

Couldn’t find any earth leaks on heater or motor by the way.

    Allan.

    Only 2 E60 codes shown for ZWF1427W:-

E62 Overheating during washing NTC sensor faulty; heating element faulty; wiring faulty; PCB faulty.

E66 Heating element power relay faulty PCB faulty; current leakage from heating element to ground.

Heater failure or earth fault is most common for generating an E60 code; must be PCB or NTC then.

    Steve.

Jeez, my eyes must be worse than I thought could have sworn it was E63 😕

I think I’ll try a heater as it comes with the ntc and pray it’s not the board.

    Thanks Allan.

If it’s the board, then it’s more than likely just the relay needs replacing. Figure out which one completes the heater circuit and desolder it and solder in a new one. About £1 from RS. Wouldn’t bother testing the relay itself as they usually test OK even though sufficiently iffy to trigger a fault code.
Once m/c running OK again, you can confirm your suspicions by opening up the old relay and inspecting the contacts.
Was E61 on an AEG I did.
    Mike.
