Zanussi ZWF1430w W/M

I have been to this zanussi washing machine today when its switched on the display says 2.18 which i believe is the time the wash takes you cannot select any other washes and when the start button is pressed it just says error. I wodered if anyone has had this before with one of these machines also is this some sort of fault code be gratefull of some help with this one please.Larry.

1. Reset the set programme with the SKIP/RESET (8) button and then switch the appliance off.
2. Press the START/PAUSE (7) and SKIP/RESET (8) button simultaneously and then, holding the
buttons down, switch the appliance on with ON/OFF button.
3. Hold the buttons down till the buzzer sounds and the LEDs start flashing (about 4 seconds).

Thanks George when the leds start flashing does this mean the machine is reset and should go into a programme then

Had something like it a couple of weeks ago. Similar but probably not the same model. Turned out to have two buttons on front linked by a lock symbol (only seen when observed closely – after I’d been there for half an hour). Child lock.
