Machine starts on wash prog..drains, then when water should be taken, aborts and ends.Water supply and valves ok.Seems to be a control fault? E30 flashes up occasionaly.

Martin, tried a new heater(old one tested ok with mega),initially started to work, taking in water!Tested this twice,ok. Then when I thought all was well, started up again, prog aborted and E30 again! All I can think is module fault?

Have you tried diagnostics ? could be pressure switch or airtrap fault

The pdf Chris posted between p27-p28 gives the E3* series of codes. Mostly p/sw related. So you may have a colourcatcher or suchlike causing an intermittent blockage around the pressure vessel (= air trap?) which IIRC is integral with the sump hose.
If you haven’t already done so, take a good look in that sump hose, especially around the eco-ball. Analogic p/sws have also been known to give trouble.
Incidentally, when you changed the element and it worked a couple of times, that might have been due to you disturbing the blockage.
    Mike.
