This machine intermittently stops on programme with start/pause light flashing and the second, third and fifth programme lights on, as if selected for a special wash. The skip button, as all buttons do not do anything in this state. I have not seen the fault, and but I put it into diagnosis and it went through the test programme with no previous fault code showing. The model appears to be different from the one shown on TDS but the test prog appears virtually the same. I suspect board, just wonder if any other suggestions, please.

The combination of the ‘start/pause’ led and the ‘end’ led should give you an error code. And you never mentioned the ‘end’ led? 😕

Thanks for the reply. Sorry if confusing, but there was no error code showing up, either for the customer, or for me when I ran the diagnostic programme looking for a stored code, so the end LED did not flash to give an indication of a fault. When the machine locks up the phase/warning LEDs L27,L28and L30 stay lit, the start/pause button flashes and pressing any of the buttons has no effect, until the on/off. Which makes me think control board.

    Hi.

I assume you have tested for an insulation fault?

    Hi Mvitorio,

Did you have any success with this problem? I have a customer with the same model of machine which is showing similar faults except when it freezes up it is just the start/pause light that is flashing. The other lights that were showing as part of the programme remain constant. No error codes are shown and diagnostics don’t reveal anything. Insulation is testing fine. I suspect the PCB is faulty.

    Cheers
    Chris
