    4 year old Zanussi ZWF1437W

Initially E20 problem, manually drained, cleaned filter, Ran cycle again, same thing happened. On closer inspection of drain pump found small cocktail stick stopping drain pump from rotating. Replaced drain pump as it looks as if coil had burnt out. Also saw and smelt tiny amount of white smoke coming from top left hand area of washing machine.

However after replacing the drain pump the washing machine still doesn’t work. It goes straight to drain on any cycle waits for about 2 mins, does nothing and then goes to 0. After some DIY diagnostics (pressing start/skip, turn power on, cycling through fabrics), it appears that the problem maybe E23 triac malfunction. Help!

    Thanks

The main power module will need replacing as well because when the pump burnt out it took that module with it! 😥

Thanks Martin, any idea how much this will cost?
