Hi the above machine will stop on a wash and the screen starts flashing 000 or so the customer tells me ? I have asked her to try a cold wash and it went through fine ,had a quick look this morning heater is ok , thermistor was not giving a reading on the meter but can’t be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure I was on it correctly as I only had the large meter with large probes ,

Should we be getting some sort of error code with any heating problems eg thermistor?

    Thanks

Yes you’d imagine it should throw up an error code, did you go into diagnostics & check?
NTC fault would be E70’s, heater E60’s, motor E50’s, door lock E40’s etc

I don’t know to what “large meter” you refer to? A Megger (insulation tester) to check for earth leakage on heaters etc. A multimeter (set on Kohms) to check the resistance of the the NTC. Incidentally, NTC’s rarely fail and when they do it is usually a leak to earth anyway so a Megger would at least show that up.

Hi thanks for your reply’s , I did not have any info on me to go into the diagnostics but I will be going back on Monday to have a look

Martin the meter I was talking about is and old multimeter used for automotive but the probes are too big for tiny pins on the thermistor , I have only had to replace one or two in my time so not confident that is the problem ,

    Cheers alan
