Zanussi ZWF16070W1 – jumping straight to end

Whatever wash cycle is set the machine seems as though it is going to take in water (all correct lights are lit), then pauses for a few seconds before the end light then shows and nothing has happened. Any ideas??

The first thing it should do at the start of any cycle once the door lock engages is that the drain pump should operate. So start looking there. 😉

Drain pump operates but then no water taken in. Have checked water reaching machine ok.

Drain pump runs to empty water out, this should reset pressure switch to zero, if it doesn’t empty out then it won’t fill. Best check filter, pump, sump hose, also check water inlet valves for circuit.

Machine seemed to clear itself; ran for 2 full washes and now the original problem has resurfaced. Not being particularly technical any help with what I can check and how/where would be most welcome.
