Zanussi zwg1120k

Had to replace the door seal on one of these models. Only way I could do it was to remove front panel and front weight, I’ve been changing door seals for years but this was the most difficult and was not possible to do any other way. Anybody else replaced a seal on this model?

looks like in the 3rd picture the front weight has also been removed. there was no other way I could fit the new seal back on again without removing the weight. most other machines the door seal doesn’t need the front panel to be taken off.

Except Hotpoint, Bosch, Neff, Siemens, Beko and others I suppose. These full wrap around cabinets are such a pain don’t you think?

Think I had one after a trip to the beach in the summer. Undesirable 🙁
