ZANUSSI ZWG1140M – won’t heat water

My mum’s washing machine has suddenly stopped heating the water. I’m hoping someone can offer some advice as to what the issue could be and whether it is an easy and inexpensive fix. 😕

I’m not sure about any fault codes as I haven’t had a chance to see the machine.

Heater element or thermostat maybe? Any links to guides about replaceing/testing these parts and where to get spares whould be helpful if possible.

Most likely heaters duff, POWER OFF IF INSPECTING IT OR TESTING, test the continuity across it with a test meter, should read 20-30 ohms.
Heater should be available online if required.
