Participantm/c stopped during cycle with water in m/c, set to drain but after a couple of seconds progamme ends, manually drained m/c, checked for blockage all ok, cleaned filter, switched m/c on and set to drain programme, heard pump for a couple of seconds the m/c started to fill
then stopped, reset and started drain programme again but after a couple of seconds programme ends, infact any programme ends after a couple of seconds. I suspect pressure switch, any help pleaseJuly 31, 2016 at 8:15 am #439798Gavin.allport

If it has a linear pressure switch you may have to reset it after manually draining the appliance.
Turn the machine off pour in 1.5 litres of water then put on a drain cycle. You might have to do this more than once as they can be temperamental

thanks Gavin, tried the reset but still the same fault drain pump noise for 1 or 2 seconds then starts to fill. whilst is was working on the machine I tested the drain pump, 238 ohm, is the ok or a little high, also measured the voltable on the connectors when on drain cycle, 1 or 2 seconds at 240v but the is all over the place, so would your recommend pump or pressure switch and anything else……..

Resistance sounds about right. If you put the machine on a spin cycle does it do the same? Have you checked the motor brushes? When the brushes go you can often get odd faults.

ran diagnostics and on every option the machine starts to fill with
water but does not post any error codesAugust 1, 2016 at 8:35 pm #439804Gavin.allport

If you’re in the diagnostic menu the last option will give you a fault code
