    Hello,

can you actually replace the paddles on these new machines. You used to get access to the screws in the back of the paddles through the sump, but there’s no sump hose on them.

ZWG???? The model number of the machine in question would be helpful.

In this case it’s a ZWG7160P. I was being generic as I was assuming most of the newer ones with the 2 paddles and fluff filter will be the same construction.

Generic don’t help much as the ZWG series stretches back 10 yrs. The ZWG7160P ‘blades’ (as they call them) are removed by removing the top counterweight. Once removed you have to drill (11mm drill bit) through centre of the two circles moulded in the tub to access the screws holding the blades in place.

Then you’ve got to plug to holes with plugs (part no 50288048007) and silicone. 🙁

    Have fun!

Thanks for that, would never have thought to look under the counterweight.
