Zanussi ZWH 6120P start/pause switch flashing red.

Hi everyone. My Zanussi ZWH 6120 p stops shortly after starting the wash cycle and the start/pause button flashes red. It doesn’t look to be flashing an error code, just constant on off. If I press the button the wash cycle continues as normal to the end. Any ideas? Thanks.

Thanks for replying, it is still filling I’d say. The water pressure isn’t brilliant here so could it be that it’s taking too long to reach a required level? Something else is that it no longer takes the conditioner from the tray. I looked into the area above the tray and it looked like a plate with some holes in it. Could they be blocked or restricted?

well if its a fill error you can soon check that

select a programme with no washing in
close the door and start the programme
wait till it starts to fill then push the start button again to pause the programme
now open the soap draw and carefully add water till its got at least 2 inches in the drum
then un pause the machine and see if it runs the programme
if it does it should wash, heat then fail again when it gets to the rinse
