ParticipantHi I have just replaced the module for above washing machine as the old one had blown and when I powered up it back up the only light that comes on is the power on light. I have looked at the pcb on the control panel but cant see any damage. Im just wondering if it could be anything else before I order the pcb.

You should have asked the question in the ‘Trade Technical’ forum. (maybe a mod will move this thread?)
Anyway, I would look very carefully at the old damaged PCB to try and establish what caused it to blow? The most usual suspect are the door interlock or the motor.
They don’t blow up as a rule by their own accord and unless the faulty component is replaced before plugging in a new module then the same will happen to the new and you’re back to square one again I’m afraid. 😥

Hopefully it will be moved im new to this forum and just starting out on my own. There is a lot of damage to one area on the board an one of the connnectors is blackened and thats going to the light on the door. So maybe it is the door switch.

Door Interlock failure on these very common and almost always blown the darn module.
Not sure if the mods will read this and move the thread but next time I recommend future posts of this nature best placed in TRADE TECHNICAL.
Welcome to the madhouse by the way! 🙂

No it’s the second and smaller of the two pressure switches (Part No: 1320903113 by the way) 🙂
