Zanussi ZWT 71201 WA washer/dryer. Dead.

I have a Zanussi ZWT 71201 WA . There is no response at all from the machine. I get a slight glow in the digital display when I turn the programme dial quickly. I have checked the obvious and can confirm that I have 240 v to the pcb. I have tried to obtain fault codes using the method described in previous threads. One time I managed to get a C25 code and on another occasion I got a code on every click of the programming dial resulting in a 2:40 display which I assume is a programme time. Thought I’d cracked it so turned it off and filled with washing . Turned the machine back on and it was unresponsive again. Can’t even tempt it to give a fault code . Any help would be much appreciated.

Looks like the suppessor is a gonna or much more likely, based on a similar one I had a couple of months ago, it`ll be the pcboard and if it is they`re not cheap to buy as you`d no-doubt expect. Go to Zanussi spares and look up your pnc or product code for your specific version ( as read off the sticky label ) which will then X ref to ZWT71201A to make sure. Might have to get the manufacturers out or maybe a pre configured pcboard is listed. Either way a bit of bad luck.

Thanks for your help. I’ve contacted Zanussi Spares and ordered a configured control module for £103 . Seems reasonable to me. Anyway fingers crossed . If that fails I’ll buy a cheapo integrated washing machine. Cheers .
