ParticipantGood afternoon,
I’m struggling to put my finger on a drying fault on the above w/d.
The customer complained of damp towels, even after over two hours drying, so I visited and checked the pump filter, heater, toc’s and operation of the drying cycle.
I then put two damp towels in on a one hour drying cycle and monitored.
The heater and fan are absolutely fine, as is the ducting into the drum.
The heater also cycles on and off, and is turned off for the final twenty minutes or so.
However, the towels were barely dryer than when they were added.
Any help much appreciated!

Jontymox says the ducting is fine Barry. Though he didn’t mention if the water was flowing through OK.

He said the ducting into the drum. I took that as being the heater ducting. I’m on about the condenser at the back.

I thought he meant the condenser. Surely he must have checked that, didn’t you Jontymox?

Good morning,
The condenser itself is clear, so seems I should look at the water flow?

Thanks folks,
I’ll thoroughly check the water flow etc, and let you know if that was the problem.

Sarcasm? You asked if you needed to check if water was flowing through the condenser.

and my reply was….

You asked, I answered. That’s not sarcasm my friend. You have to pay extra for that if you want me to be sarcastic. 👿

Fair enough.
Sorry for the confusion; I trust I haven’t offended you.

Not in the least Jon. I too am a Yorkshireman though exiled down here Hampshire.
You take care and if you need any help I will always strive to help where and when I can. As for the ‘Appliance Master’ tag, that was involuntarily put on me by one Kenneth Watt esq. the administrator of this fine web site. I have no influence over his droll sense of humour in giving me that title.
All the best

Well,
I’m still struggling to cure this problem, and the Bosch dishwasher no heat fault.
“back to the drawing board on both these problems.”
