Zanussi ZWX1605W just beeps 3 times

Our machine has just stopped working. When powered up , the wash type, temperature, spin speed and option LED’s all come on as usual but the light over the start/pause button does not come on. Pressing any button results in three beeps and any associated LED’s above the button flash three times (the whole column). Blamed the 21 month old initially but having found others with this problem, now full of remorse!! any ideas??? 😳

I suspect that you’ve got some sort of corruption issue going on with the pcb. The flashing lamps described don’t correspond with any fault, test or diagnostic conditions of which I’m aware.

Thanks for the reply, seems strange that this has happened to others as well, Callout out charge and new PCB seems a bit excessive so I think we will go for replacement.

I had the same problem, 3 beeps (3 times) then 15 red flashes then cycle continues. I removed the top cover (two screws at the back) then the cover surrounding the electronics (clip retainers) and pushed home every connector and hey presto it’s working again. Must have been a loose connection.
