Hi there,
My Zanussi ZX57 3W fridge freezer keeps overfreezing things. The freezer compartment consists of 3 drawers.
Underneath the bottom most draw, ice builds up until the drawer cannot be shut. I usually then have to chisel away at the ice, which is about half an inch thick until I am able to remove a whole wedge.
Then the slow process starts again.
I’m wondering what could have caused this ?
Could it have just been that the freezer door wasn’t shut one night ?
Does the fact that I chisel the ice block out contribute to the problem ? i.e. My Dad always sayd that once you had an ice problem, the only way to cure it was by a full defrost. I haven’t done this, as I don’t know if that is true, my Dad being a postman and not an electrical repairman and all…
Or is it something else ?
Any help would be appreciated…
Thanx in advance.
