I was woken in the night by the temp. alarm going off (sounds familiar why do they go at night?)
After reading the manual it stated that it was a major fault. So dug out reciept to see if in guarantee, it ran out 6 days ago!!!
Is it worth the call to zanussi to try and get it seen to (we didn’t get an extended warentee as refused to pay the extra £100 and naively thought it would last more than 1 year 6 days!!!)
Also the freezer is still working or at least all goods are still frozen but the fridge part is warm, if the motor has gone wouldn’t it affect both parts of the unit?
    Hope you can help
    Gary

If you use the forum search:

    http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … ile=search

And type ZX99* you’ll find quite a bit of info on these models and bleeping.

I would certainly contact Zanussi though as it’s just out of warranty 🙂

Ok will give them a call, on another note I had a look for repair persons in the Portsmouth area but your search engine didn’t come up with any. Is this correct? Because if Zanussi don’t give us any joy then we will have to get someone in and I would be happier using an approved person than not.
    Cheers

No-one in PO on my list I’m afraid.

Check the Zanussi own service site:
