its on a magnet on the pcb isnt it?

generally, if youve changed the bulb, and it still aint working, itll need a pcb

I have taken the pcb out, checked the magnetic reed switch that works on it turns the dial lighting off and on , looking at the pcb the power tracks for the interior lights go fron the connector on the righthand side of the pcb to the left via two link wires across the pcb to the large connector on the pcb , which then goes off into the top of the fridge via a ribbon cable . the voltagew across the two link wires is 53v ac . any ideas where the ribbon cable goes too . Has anyone got a circuit diagram for this beast please.

    regards

theres another pcb on the back, near the compressor

thats where the ribbon cable goes to, i suspect

it looks like th3 has blown apart on the pcb this is surface mount , i cannot identify the component as not enough left of it ,
so it seems like a new pcb OUCH

Try a good electronics engineer(try a one-man tv&radio repairer) -explain what the board does, he’ll possibly know what sort of device it is, and an acceptable substitute.

Whether it’s cost-effective, is another issue!
