Zanussi ZX99/5SI fridge not working (freezer OK)

HELP!!! – The fridge section of our Zanussi ZX99/5SI (product no. 928405933) recently stopped refrigerating. The freezer still works and the lights in the fridge still work. The alarm sounds during the day when the weather is at it’s hottest but stays off when slightly cooler (it’s still been hot at night recently!). The fridge does not start working even when the weather cools down.
Have tried resetting and switching power off/on but this makes no difference.
The unit is only approx. 3 and a half years old. The entire unit broke down only 14 months after we purchased it (the compressor had to be replaced at an horrendous charge 👿 ). At that time the Engineer went through a diagnostics process to ascertain the problem. Does anyone know the sequences for the diagnostics, what the problem may be and what the solution is?
Would welcome any knowledgeable advice.

For “ZX99*” (with the asterisk but without the quotes) this problem seems to come up quite often.
