Hi,
Can i just say what a great site, so much information, but unfortunately i have been unable to find a solution to my problem.
Im looking to find what part i would need for Zanussi IZ 16 s with the following problem,
After selecting the machine to do a wash of lets say 40 degrees, cottons, 1600 spin, time save activated, i then press START, the machince then takes in its smaller amount of water, and drum turns back and forth etc, after completion it then proceeds to take in a larger amount of water and this completes, then my problem , it just pauses only at this stage, it can be skipped and the machine will continue the rest of its program with no other problems.
The same thing happens on all temperature settings or spin speed selections and the delay feature is off.
When it is paused the start button does nothing just flashes a green light above it every second, when skip is pressed it moves on, i have cleaned everything pipe wise and filters etc also ran machine empty with no soap on a 90 degree wash with no clothes in machine and the same happened,
Any help or advice would be appreciated as to what may be needed,

Awkward – I’d start by checking the heating element for resistance and earth leakage; possibly earth leakage on the motor (less likely). Failing that it’s a logic error on the main PCB, in which case you’ll need to stop and have a thinl about your options.
Stay safe, power off if you intend to sort this yourself.
