You need to get your dryer checked out by someone with the right experience and the correct test equipment. So many different things can cause the trips to go, impossible to second guess from here. Click on my sig if you need help, please remove the plug if you intend to ‘have a go’ yourself.

This problem has me baffled. I tested between the pins of the plugtop and got a reading between all the pins.I removed the lower plastic cover at the rear bottom right and removed the heater plug and the fault went clear.I removed the heater cover to find that the heater was wet.I dried it out with a hair dryer and it worked OK for the next batch of drying and failed again on the second.I removed the rear cover and cleaned out all water passages I also cleaned out the float chamber.I reassembled everything again it worked OK for the first batch and failed on the second. Somehow water is getting into the heater housing and is being deposited on the heater element. I am not in the trade just a lifetimes DIY experience in maintaining my own houshold equipment.I have all the necessary test equipment and tools and would appreciate more suggestions.

The condenser housing (big box section in the bottom) is blocked somewhere, preventing water from draining down into the tank. Instead, it’s backing up into the fan chamber and being thrown into the heater.
Demolition time – power off, of course.

I had already tried this.I removed all the clips holding the two sections together cleaned all the passageways checked the valves on both the container and housing.I poured a container of water into the area that collects the water and it flowed into the containor. The water is still getting into the heater area. Any more suggestions appreciated.

Similar thing happens to mine. In my case it’s when the water casette (over)fills. The float switch thing that turns it off when too full has stopped working (prob clogged up with muck must get around to cleaning it out).
If mine trips I can sort it out by emptying the casette and turning the knob to the “cooling down” part of the cycle (ie heter element not powered up) and running it for a few mins to dry out.Interesting to see if yours is the same problem.

The condenser unit (the aluminium box structure) can very easily – and quickly – become blocked.
I tend to take it to the bathroom, put it into the bath and BLAST water through it, dislodging any fluff. You must do this fairly regularly, as there are ‘dimples’ which catch the fluff.
