ParticipantSo…
it floods the tray beneath the dishwasher, coming out of the two black pipes, but only in tiny amounts.
I thought at first it was the lower door seal as it’s pretty much in tatters but on further reading it could be the pressure sensor is causing it to over fill?
how does one find that and could it be the door seals? Would the door seal cause a leak to the tray or would it just leak out the door?

ParticipantOh and I don’t mean after rinse cycle, I just mean after the first initial wash – about 15 mins in to a eco cycle

Moderatorsome of these units were the subject of sensor modifications for this problem but there are 12 machines with the same model ranging from 2013 to late 2016
would need a complete PNC number to find the correct one

Moderatorthe mod is because the tubes get blocked
you could try cleaning them and see what happens

ParticipantHow do I find the tubes? It’s been built in by a builder that loves stripping screws, I’m gonna need to pull it out aye?
Thanks

Moderatorthink the first thing to do is open door, take out all the filters then post a pic of the sump
you may have to host pic on another site and post a public link

ParticipantCool, so something like this…

I can see how the cover goes on but I don’t think I’ll be able to get to the sensor behind the sump to fix, can I clean the tubes from the sump side? Inject boiling water?

Moderatorthats it
you can access sensor by taking off the lower cover under the door. you will have to remove the outer kitchen door to gain better access
dont forget to find the plug and take it out

ParticipantThanks Dave. I couldn’t locate anything… no idea what I’m doing.
But I did squirt some hot water and cleaning stuff into that hole using my kids medicine syringe and some gunk came out.
ive since ran it 3 times and no overflows at all.
so fingers crossed I can with confidence put the kick board back on and do some dishes!
thanks so much for your help, you guys should have a tip function

Moderatoryes its the gunk building up in that hole that causes the problem
if you want to give a tip then we cant accept money but I ask people to donate to a cancer charity of their choice
glad you sorted it
Dave
