been out to this just after christmas and put new door lock on, and connection was fine, went out last week and replaced interlock because getting error codes again and terminal was still ok but lock was noticeably warm to the touch. replaced it anyway in case it was a dud, but then out again this week and terminals cable is melted and got signs of burning around the [1] & [2] tags. theres no visible seal damage, and 3rd lock ive just put on now gets red hot amost immediately. its a 4tag instant one, and im assuming its just drawing too much current, as never come across them get this hot before.

PCB looks perfect, no error codes other than door sensed not shut

anyone have any ideas why its happening? im not leaving a 3rd interlock on since the original was replaced in case it catches fire

thats what i thought but it doesnt seem to explain why its gone thru 3 interlocks. and only just now has started to get very hot and burn?? got a loom on order, but on other zanussis this usually entails replacing most of the wiring as each connection block seems to be interlinked with another components block. argh why can it be simple?!

Think part num’ 1325231007 is the 4tag interlock loom can’t be certain unless you quote PNC, there are 14 ZWD12270s listed

try here for parts lookup, looms are under electrical section, numbered 999, “MicroPorta” is the door lock loom
