Have these dishwashers got the usual 1/2 load button that Chinese dishwashers normally have, not seen one yet and got a job for one that is not cleaning very well and I suspect it might be permanently on 1/2 load either user error or motor faulty

No 1/2 load on this one a f a i k.

If not cleaning its could be cheap detergent, or customer not cleaning plates sufficiantly before going in.

I have had a motor issue where it had been leaking and sluggish to turn , so not pumping fast enough to wash or operate the heat pressure switch!

normal PCB issues other than that pretty basic.
