Further to the above… The drain hose downstream of the drain pump is not blocked and merrily spews water into the sink when the drain motor is working. The drain motor works initially but starts to buzz after 3 min and 3 seconds of each program (definitely a consistent time) and the dishwasher is full of standing water. If you open the door and press the program button for several seconds, LEDs 4 and 5 come on. When the door is closed again, the drain pump starts working again (pumping loads of water) and clears out the water before the machine stops. I have tried about 100 times to reset the machine (switch on and quickly press the program button four times) but no joy…

Could this be an issue with the main controller board?

Hello again, I will reply to my own posting 😮 After trying to reset (switch on and press the program button four times) the machine numerous times, it finally got to the stage of LEDs 1 and 5 flashing and now it works fine. Perhaps there was a momentary power cut/surge??
