ParticipantI’ll give that a go. I couldn’t get the back off without having to disconnect the water as access to the back panel is limited. Hence no photo. I will try the video next time and perhaps take the back off if I get more time. Thanks again for your continued help.

ParticipantTried that but now it says I can only upload 19kb instead of 2mb. Any other options?

ParticipantI’ve taken some pictures of its insides but unfortunately they’re too large to upload here (2Mb limit)

ParticipantI’ve had a look at the drum from the inside and it appears to be centered and not loose. It rotates by hand although there is a bit of a grinding noise. There doesn’t appear to be anything rattling between the inner and outer drum. I haven’t had a chance to remove the top cover yet as I’m not actually living in the house at the moment as it has been contaminated by someone else’s heating oil, Next time I go back to pick up some stuff I’ll take the top off and take a photo.

ParticipantNo there were no electrical problems. It sounded like something had broken/snapped inside the machine. There are no objects inside or in the filter. It was loud enough to hear from the other side of the house and the machine is in an outside porch.

ParticipantI’m just west of Brecon in Powys. I’ve tried the link above, thanks, but it didn’t come up with anyone in this area.

ParticipantThanks for your reply iadom. He didn’t strip the machine down just took the top off and looked inside. I didn’t think there were any ISE agents anymore since they stopped trading. If there are do you know where I could find a list of them? The drum will rotate by hand but I haven’t been brave enough to set it going on a cycle. The load in the machine at the time wasn’t particularly big, probably less than 5kg dry weight.
