Lol,
I am living in Leeds and the rental flat is in Edinburgh so looks like I am in the worst places to have a broken machine.
Read the brushes article. That is something I could do. Is it common for brushes to wear out after 2 years?
I think I may have to buy a new machine and then take this one away to look at it as I am getting daily emails from the tenant about when they will get a new machine 🙁
Going back to Service Force…is it worth getting them to go out and ask if they can look at the motor brushes then the PCB?
I am just cynical I guess and wouldn’t be surprised if they charged me for a PCB but just stuck new brushes on it 😥
Is it ok to ask to see the old components?

The machine is in a rental flat otherwise I would be happy to strip it down and check them. I am trying to figure out if it is worth paying for another engineer to go in or of it is BER.
Any idea what the flat fee is from Service Force as there are no UKWG engineers operating in Edinburgh.

But the door lock doesn’t activate and the solenoid doesn’t let water in. Would it not try to do that before starting the motor. Then again it does sometimes rotate the drum before the cycle fully begins but with the door lock not activating I would not expect anything else to happen??
