    Hi Dave
I’ve retrieved the control board for the motor, through the back cover. Everything inside the machine is very clean and dry. There is no sign of water damage on the controller PCB. I cleaned and reconnected all the cables, but no change to the dead motor.

The 3 phases of the motor all read 5.5 ohms, so I’m guessing the windings are ok. Since the motor/drive seems totally dead, a further question is whether there might be any fuses in the wiring block at top right of the machine, where the mains cable enters?

Otherwise I guess I’m going to need a new controller, but it worries me that the problem could still be elsewhere (the overall controller/programmer). And why has it failed during storage?

    Many thanks
    Alan

Hi Dave, yes, the machine has now been in a dry house for a few days. At first I thought I must have done something stupid in re-installing it. But it’s gradually coming to life – at first it would only pump out, but yesterday it started filling too. I presume the motor is pretty reliable, so I’ll try getting to the control board to dry it, then re-assemble the connector(s) with contact cleaner.
Is it accessible from the top/back, or from below?
    Many thanks, Alan
