    Re: Siemens SE24A230GB/17 Sequence

After cleaning all the common problems the performance seems to have got better. So that’s a good thing.

Do still get the ker chonk ker chonk sound but this seems to be some where around the pumping out rinsing bit but not sure as you cant tell where the machine is in its programme !!!! as it is filling the drain pump operates and pumps out also stopping the fill then the drain pump stops and filling continues this happens several times what is it doing ??

    Just one other thing
can you tell me what bits and bobs there are on the machine, ie: the programmer is in the door under the digital display ? one pressure switch on left hand side water matrix with flood switch ? down under the machine by the sump there is the drain pump, circ pump and heating unit what else is down there and are there any other sensors or switches anywhere else ?

Do you know of the sort of common problems with this machine ?
What sort of bits are attached to the sump, obviously drain pump circ pump heater box. anything else to warrant striping down the base off the cabinet ?
What about other pressure switches temp sensors ect ?

The motor will start after a set period of time or the first contact on the pressure switch, depending on the model.

Thanks for the reply Penguin45, Getting dirty glasses and bowels now and then, have cleaned all the usual bits behind left hand side panel and the flexy fill pipe to the sump.
In watching the filling sequence, the circ pump starts before filling has completed ( what starts this )
Also the fill sometimes stops before the pressure switch has operated ( the yellow one by the red flood float behind the left side panel ) is there any other pressure switches somewhere else ?
I have not removed the base from the top cabinet yet !!
I have checked the diverter in the sump it looks to be clean and the disc is white it does change position from lower arm to top arm ( but I do not know how frequently this should change back and forth ? )

The reason I asked for the operational sequence is so I can watch it through a cycle and prove it is doing what it should be doing at each point.
Worked for 10 years as a service engineer for Southern Electric but that was about 12 years ago and don’t have any spec for this !!!!
Would post some pics of the fill chambers and pressure switches but I can’t upload to this forum, is there a number of posts I have to reach first ?
